32 year old Alam Djurakulov of Pennsylvania was seriously injured in the semi crash on US 30 east of Queen Road Friday evening at 6:10.
The accident occurred as the two semis were traveling westbound just to the east of the intersection with Queen Road.
For unknown reason Djurakulov’s semi struck the read of a Schneider semi driven by 24 year old Donovan Sampson of Neponset, IL. The impact caused the cab to separate from the chassis. Djurakulov was pinned in the cab for approximately 45 minutes before Plymouth Fire were able to extricate him. He was immediately airlifted from the scene by MedFlight to Memorial Hospital.
