12/27/13 Driving without a license has landed a Plymouth woman in the Marshall County Jail.

Plymouth Patrolman Bob DeLee stopped a vehicle at Plum and Jefferson Streets for driving without its headlights.   Officer DeLee discovered that the driver, 30 year old Tanya K. McNeal of Plymouth had never received a driver’s license. She was taken into custody and lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a charge of Operator Never Licensed.

 

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that crime has been committed.  They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
