07/30/13 As of the end of work on Monday every water main south of the railroad tracks that run east to west along Pennsylvania Avenue are flushed and done. Everything on the east side of Michigan Street has been flushed an is complete.

Eric Keilman, Distribution System Foreman for the City Water Department said, “The only section not completely done is the west side of Michigan Street, basically the northwest section of town.   On Tuesday city water department employees will start on West Harrison Street by Indiana Heat Transfer and head west to Oak Road.  They will then come back and do water main flushing on the following streets; West Jackson, West Monroe, West Madison, Beerenbrook, 4th Street, 5th Street, and Broadway Street.  If everything works well they may get into the North Center Street area.
