04/02/13 Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger reported Monday that his office assisted the Marshall County Police Department, Bourbon Police Department and Indiana State Police with the investigation Saturday, March 30th of a suicide in Tippecanoe. The Coroner’s Office was requested when police responded to an address on 17B Road for an individual who had shot himself.
Upon investigation of all agencies it was determined that 65 year old Robert A. Allen had taken his own life outside his residence. There was no evidence of foul play and a note was found at the scene. Cleavenger said Allen’s body was removed to a local funeral home and no further investigation is planned. Family members were present at the scene.
