The Downtown Plymouth Merchants and the City of Plymouth are joining together to have a Kick-Off to Summer Block Party and a Sesquicentennial Birthday Party for the City of Plymouth on Thursday, June 22nd from 4:00-8:00 pm.

Everyone is invited to come Downtown and celebrate!  We will be passing out free hot dog meals that include chips and a drink courtesy of donations from Hoosier Catering, Coca-Cola, Culligan Water, and the downtown merchants. You will also be able to get a free snow cone from BB Vending. Dainty Donuts and Bailey’s Sweet Kettle Corn will also have some tasty yummies for sale. If you don’t want a hot dog, some of the downtown restaurants will be out on the sidewalk with different food options.  FREE Birthday cake will be provided by Martin’s Supermarket.

Michigan Street will be closed between Garro and LaPorte Streets.  The street will be filled with kids’ games, crafts, a fire truck, an ambulance, and a police car.  The Rees Theatre will also be showing cartoons so be sure to drop in and cool off while you watch some fun old cartoons!  The Heartland Artists Gallery will have face painting available, as well as their weaving wall and Wild Rose Moon will provide some live music.

Be sure to check out the displays in the window of the Marshall County Historical Museum, celebrating Plymouth’s birthday and LaPaz’s birthday!

This event will be tons of fun for everyone!  It’s going to be another Beautiful Day in Plymouth, Indiana!
