Leah Napolitano, MD, has been named the president of Saint Joseph Medical Group (SJMG) after serving as the interim president since September 1, 2022. As president of the medical group, Dr. Napolitano will take on the responsibility of the medical group leading more than 160 physicians and clinicians at 38 practices. Under her leadership, SJMG opened a new immediate care location in Marshall County and a new multispecialty practice in Elkhart.

“We are excited to announce Dr. Napolitano as the new leader of the Saint Joseph Medical Group,” said Shawn P. Vincent, CEO, SJHS. “I have no doubt she will continue to identify strategic opportunities for us to continue to expand on how we assist the community.”

Dr. Napolitano has served our community for more than 12 years as a primary care provider and, most recently, as the Medical Director of Quality and Process Improvement for Saint Joseph Medical Group. Her work in clinical and administrative roles with the SJMG helped her develop an in-depth knowledge of our local healthcare community.

“We look forward to the leadership Leah will bring as she continues to advance our strategy to ensure an exceptional patient experience and excellent clinical outcomes,” said Mark LePage, Senior Vice President, Medical Groups and Ambulatory Strategy at Trinity Health.

Dr. Napolitano received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Notre Dame ’94 and Post Baccalaureate Pre Medicine degree from Bryan Mawr College. She is board-certified in family medicine with a primary care and administration background.
