Members of the Plymouth Park Board approved the annual request of the Boys & Girls Club in Plymouth to use the pool in Centennial Park during the summer.

Each year the Boys & Girls Club requests the use of the pool, 2 days a week from 1 to 4 p.m. for an annual flat rate of $300.  The club only uses the pool during June and July.

The agreement states that the club will provide staff to assist with their members while at the pool.   The Boys & Girls Club also offers the services of club members as volunteers for clean-up work or beautification projects in the parks.

Relay for Life of Marshall County was also granted free use of the Lions Pavilion in Centennial Park on Friday, June 9th for a one-day fundraising yard sale.

Relay of Life will host their annual walk on September 9th in River Park Square.  These events raise nearly $50,000 each year for the American Cancer Society.

The Plymouth Park Board also approved the requests to donate family pool passes for the Operation Quiet Comfort and Delta Theta Tau fundraisers.
