09/13/11 Several churches in the area are working to bring a wonderful family film to Showland Cinema and Jack and Dawn Roose from Shiloh Wesleyan are heading up one charge.  Showland has told them if they can pre-sell 1,000 tickets by Friday, September the “COURAGEOUS” will open in Plymouth.

Roose said, “Excitement is growing as time is getting closed to the premier of “Courageous” on September 30th.  More importantly our community has the power to bring this mover to our local theater but, we must act now!”

Filled with action-packed police drama, “Courageous” is the fourth film from Sherwood Pictures, the movie making ministry of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia.  Riveted moviegoers will once again find themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they are challenged and inspired by everyday heroes who long to be the kind of dad that makes a lifelong impact on their children.

Four men with one calling, to serve and protect.  When tragedy strikes home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Protecting the streets is second nature. Raising their children in a God-honoring way?  That’s courageous.

This is a movie you won’t want to miss, especially if you are a parent.  Contact Dawn Roose at 574-948-0815 for further information and please visit www.courageousthemovie.com for videos and much more.
