The Marshall County REMC Operation Round Up Board recently granted $3,000 to two organizations in Marshall County including Operation Quiet Comfort and Marshall County 4-H Advanced Electric.
The Advanced Electric students received funding to assist with the purchase of electric kits and Operation Quiet Comfort received funding to assist with the cost of postage.
REMC members who participate in Operation Round Up by rounding up their monthly utility bills provide the funds that are awarded to non-profit organizations that apply for assistance.
