Officer Shannon Gilmer with the Plymouth Police Department arrested a Winamac man on Tuesday, January 17th after being dispatched to the Red Rock Inn at 2550 North Michigan Street. 

Just before 3 p.m., city officers were dispatched to the Red Rock Inn for an intoxicated male causing a disturbance.  

After an investigation by Officer Gilmer 33-year-old Guy Harlan was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in on a $1,500 cash bond. 

  Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
