Tuesday afternoon, December 13th, Plymouth Police released an update regarding the shooting incident that occurred on Adams Street in Plymouth on November 29, 2022.
Detective Ben McIntyre says a suspect had been identified through the investigation and a warrant for his arrest was granted on Friday, December 2.
The suspect was identified as 20-year-old Dakota Austin Young who has a 702 Dickman Street address in Plymouth. He was apprehended in Kentucky by the Kentucky State Police on Friday, December 2.
Dakota Young is currently incarcerated in Kentucky and will be held until he can be extradited to Marshall County.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
