Tuesday evening the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission conducted a public hearing on amending the Economic Development Plan for TIF District #3 commonly known as the U.S. 30/Pine Road Economic Development Area.
The proposal is to add construction improvements on Commerce Street west of Pioneer Drive and support for the development of a new hotel located on a parcel of land east of Mancino’s on Miller Drive.
The amendment to the plan was reviewed by the Plymouth Plan Commission which found the additions were supported by the current Comprehensive Plan. They gave a favorable recommendation to the additions. The City Council then reviewed the request and gave favorable support to the amendment.
With no public comment, the City Redevelopment Commission unanimously voted to pass the resolution and add the two projects to TIF District #3 project list.
