With the first snow behind us, it’s officially time to start thinking about Christmas! Church of the Heartland, located at 705 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth, is happy to announce they have multiple family-friendly events for the community to enjoy.

They kick off the month of December with a Family Christmas Celebration on December 2 from 6 to 8 PM. Santa will be there for photos, a Christmas Store where kids can shop for Mom and Dad will be available along with, Refreshments, and another photo area for Family Christmas Photos without Santa.

Need to get some Christmas Shopping done? Drop your kids off at Church of the Heartland on December 10 from 12 PM to 3 PM where you know they will be safe and have a great time! They will be watching a Christmas Movie and doing crafts while you get your shopping done. Pre-Registration is Required and closes on December 3rd. Register at https://574coth.churchcenter.com/

Next, the Church of the Heartland will be blessing those living at the Red Rock motel with Stocking of Love. They will have stockings available starting November 20 for members of their congregation to collect. Each stocking will have a suggested list. They will fill the stockings and bring them back. Then December 18th church members will be delivering the stockings and Christmas Cookies to families at the Red Rock Inn immediately after the church service.

This all leads up to their two Christmas Services called “The Christmas Table” on December 22 at 6:30 PM and December 23 at 7:30 PM. This Christmas message reminds us that “the table” evokes a sense of gathering together as a family. No family is greater than God’s family, and we are all welcomed with open arms to be a part of it. No matter who we are or what we’ve done, we only need to accept the invitation and take our seat at the table. The service lasts about an hour and there is something for the entire family!
