The Culver Board of Zoning Appeals meets Thursday evening at 6:30 in the Town Hall at 200 East Washington Street.

There are two petitions for the BZA to consider.  The first is from Daniel Cook and requests a variance of development standards to allow for an existing structure at 594 West Shore Drive to be torn down and reconstructed on the same footprint with a height not to exceed 35 feet.  The Culver Town ordinance requires the height not to exceed the height of the previous structure.

The second petition was filed by Richard Procter for the property at 216 Plymouth Street in Culver.  Proctor is seeking approval of a variance of development standards to allow for the replacement of a deck at the residential property.  The deck would create a 5-foot setback and the town’s ordinance requires a 10-foot side yard setback.

The Culver Board of Zoning Appeals meeting is open to the public.  You can also watch online via Microsoft Teams by going to the town website at townofculver.org and clicking on the meeting under upcoming events or by calling 1-574-221-6909 and using conference ID 737 574 654#.
