The Plymouth High School Speech Team is excited to announce that we will sponsor a School Board Candidate Night where community members and high school seniors who are voting for the first time can see and hear the School Board Candidates answer questions about why they want to serve on the Plymouth Community School Corporation School Board for the next 4 years. Those running for a school board seat are Robin Cupka, Stacey Patrick, Dalton Tinklenberg, and Naomi Podlesak.

The Candidate Night will be at the beautiful Rees Theater on Thursday, November 3. Doors will open at 7:00 PM and the candidates will start speaking at 7:30.

The format for the evening will be as follows: Each candidate will be given 3 minutes to introduce themselves and explain why they are running for the school board. Then, they will be asked 4 – 6 questions that each candidate will respond to. To ensure that this is a civil evening anyone with signs or who yells out will be asked to leave.

Members of the PHS Speech and Debate Team will be running the question-and-answer portion of the evening. Those members include Maddie Harness, Angel Oviedo, and Tyler Travis.

There is no charge for admission, but we will be collecting donations to help pay for the evening.
