The Marshall County Historical Society Museum is sponsoring another one of their popular Brown Bag Events this Friday, October 14, from Noon – 1:00 p.m.

In conjunction with the new Marshal County at the Movies exhibit, Historian Jeff Kenney will present “Culver at the Movies.”  The Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee area has a surprising legacy in relation to Hollywood and film, particularly with regard to the Culver Academies. Whether it is notable movies set at Culver, the many graduates of the Academies to become involved in Hollywood, or the Maxinkuckee connections to books and stories that became movies, “Culver at the Movies” will take a historical and visual look back at this rich facet of Marshall County history.

The 2nd Friday, Brown Bag Lunch event will meet at the Museum at 123 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth.

This presentation will be incredibly interesting. Pack a lunch and join the fun!
