Progress is being made on the Habitat House at 421 West Garro Street in Plymouth as the basement floor was poured on Monday, October 4th. The first row of foam foundation forms are in as well. This Thursday, October 6th, at 8:00 a.m. volunteers are needed to set the second row of forms and install rebar. Training will be done onsite. Volunteers are required to fill out a waiver and return it to Habitat prior to working at the site.
The Plymouth Chamber is thrilled to be partnering with Habitat on this build. They encourage their members to put together a team to volunteer on Saturdays beginning in December if construction is on schedule. Members who have businesses that offer heating, plumbing, flooring, electrical and drywall installation are asked to contact the Plymouth Chamber at 574-936-2323.
