Stacey Scheetz from the Triton School Corporation and Chad Beatty a member of Plymouth FOP Lodge 195/Brotherhood of Professional Police Officers and Emergency Services Inc. are networking with Triton’s 6th-grade class to make a child’s life a little bit better.

On September 30th, Triton School Corporation Students will participate in “Triton Gives Back” day. It is a day where grades Pre-K through 12th will be selflessly serving our community. The 6th-grade classes have decided to assist the children that are placed in foster care in Marshall and Kosciusko Counties. So many foster children are only given a garbage bag to put their personal belongings. The students wanted to make sure that these children had their own personal belongings and a bag to put them in.

The Plymouth FOP has graciously donated over 70 backpacks for this service project. This donation will allow each child in Marshall County to have their own backpack and supplies for school. Scheetz said, “This project would not be possible without the FOP’s donation.”
