It is with great sadness that we share our deepest condolences to the families of Congresswoman Jackie Walorski, and her dedicated staff members, Zachary Potts and Emma Thompson. Congresswoman Walorski was an advocate and longtime supporter of the Pokagon Band and Indian Country on several of our key priorities. She was instrumental in setting up the first meeting and testimony of Tribal Leaders in 25 years to the U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means regarding Tribal Tax Issues. Her memory will live on not only through her working relationship with our Tribal Government, but also through the many lives that she helped through her years public service.
