Officer Ryan Hollopeter with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a two-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon, July 30th at about 2:25 at U.S. 6 and Dogwood Road.

The report states that Drew Schramm, 28 of Warsaw was driving a 2019 Ford Transit van southbound on Dogwood Road approaching the intersection with U.S. 6.  He failed to stop at the intersection and yield the right-of-way to a 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by 51-year-old Jeremy Nusbaum of Nappanee.

Schramm’s van struck the passenger side of Nusbaum’s Nissan causing it to leave the roadway and roll over.

Drew Schramm, Jeremy Nusbaum and a passenger in his vehicle all complained of pain and were transported by EMS for further assessment by medical personnel.
