The City of Plymouth will meet Monday evening at 6 P.M. in the second floor Council Chambers of City Hall and conduct the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting as well as the Common Council meeting.
The Board of Public Works and Safety will hear from various city department heads. There is also a request to use the Water Tower lot for parking by the Plymouth Kilwinning Masonic Lodge during the Blueberry Festival and members will approve the claims.
The Common Council will continue their discussion on the selection of an IT Service provided and consider amendments to the second reading of an ordinance that will prohibit the parking of motor vehicles on residential lawn areas. After reviewing the proposed ordinance for Redistricting in the City of Plymouth, the council will consider the ordinance on the first reading Monday evening.
The City Council will also consider the requests of Composite Technology Assemblies LLC and Plymouth Molding Group to deem their properties to be within an Economic Revitalization Area, the first step in the Tax Abatement process.
Council members will also be given an update on the city’s Stellar projects, a presentation from the Lifelong Learning Network, and a discussion of the Board of Zoning Appeals and Plan Commission for compensation to board members to incentivize members to attend the meeting.
The city meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
