On Sunday evening, June 26th, just before 8 P.M. Marshall County Police received a report of a home on 5th Road near Swan Lake being struck by bullets.
A Deputy from the Sheriff’s Department investigated the complaint and found that residents on a neighboring property were shooting without a proper backstop and stray bullets were striking the neighboring house.
A report will be forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor for review of potential charges for criminal recklessness.
