Thursday morning, at about 2:15 Plymouth Police were dispatched to the Love’s Truck Stop in reference to a male subject who refused to exit his shower stall after his paid time slot.
Employees told Sgt. Taberski the man had been in the shower room for over four hours and refused to open the door. The male subject refused to open the door for officers. Officers had to have the employee unlock the door to make entry.
After being asked to leave several more times by officers and a Love’s employee the male subject, 36-year-old Skakir Farah of Sioux City, Iowa still refused to leave. He was placed under arrest for Criminal Trespass and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
