ELKHART – Bremen’s girls track team achieved a number of personal bests while placing 8th in the highly competitive Northern Indiana Conference meet at Rice Field Tuesday.

Freshman Mackenzie Feathers started off the meet with a PR of 74-3.5 in the discus. Later in the meet, sophomore Alexia Canon set a new PR in shot put with a throw of 20-08. Freshman Hannah Pezzuto ran a great race in the 100 hurdles to place 7th. Sophomore Hallie Klockow had a new season PR in the 1600 run placing 7th overall with a 5:52.97. Freshman Gracelynn Stevens improved her PR in the 300 hurdles with a time of 54.12 and bypassed numerous competitors in the next heat to place 8th overall.

The 4×100 relay of Kila Foster, Elle Libey, Zeta Nunemaker, and Agnese Masini placed 5th overall with a new relay PR of 52.82. Libey and Nunemaker then joined Stevens and Klockow for an all-conference finish in the 4×400 relay with a PR time of 4:27.45 that put them in 3rd overall with only Penn and St. Joe ahead in the placing.

Bremen will host the girls sectional meet next Tuesday.
