On Sunday evening, May 1st about 7:15 Plymouth Police received a report of a vehicle driven by an intoxicated male that left the Applebee’s parking lot.

The suspect vehicle was located and stopped after a traffic infraction by Officer Krynock at US 30 and Michigan Street. The driver, 64-year-old David Evans told the officer he was from Hayward, WI while his bookings report says he is from Tampa, FL.  David Evans was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
