On Sunday, April 24 Marshall County Police and an Indiana Conservation Officer investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 19000-block of 9C Road in Plymouth. During the investigation officers located, a handgun, ammunition, hypodermic needle, and suspected methamphetamine.

Officers arrested Mikayla Penrod, 22, of Plymouth, for Possession of a Hypodermic needle as a Level 6 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine as a Level 6 Felony, and Possession of Marijuana.

 

Isreal Wolford, age 30 of Tippecanoe, was arrested for Possession of a Hypodermic needle, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Carrying a Handgun without a license.

Both were lodged in the Marshall County Jail and held on $1,500 cash bonds.

A passenger in the vehicle, Earnest Lee Keaton Jr., age 50, of Plymouth was found to have an active Felony arrest warrant.  His cash bond was set at $5,000. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
