Marshall County is blessed to have a large population of Military Veterans. Our veterans have made us all proud of their service to our country and we definitely support them receiving the benefits they are entitled to. Unfortunately, many of our veterans are not aware of what benefits they deserve.

To help our veterans learn about their entitlements, and assist them with applying for them, Marshall County Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Chapter 42 in Plymouth, has arranged for John Rodriquez, National Service Officer (NSO), to come and work with local veterans. NSO Rodriquez is extremely versed in providing assistance to veterans who want to file claims with the VA for service-connected disabilities.

Beginning Friday, May 13, at 8:00 pm, NSO Rodriquez will be at the monthly Chapter 42 DAV meetings located at 1305 Harrison Street in Plymouth. It is anticipated that NSO Rodriquez will continue to come to Plymouth if there is a need for his assistance.

Veterans do not have to be associated with any service organization: American Legion, DAV, VFW, and others in order to attend.  ALL VETERANS ARE WELCOME!

With so many veterans in the County, WTCA will host a monthly Marshall County Veterans Program at 9:30 a.m. with Steve Beam and his guest.  The goal is to provide Marshall County Veterans with information specific to their needs.  Marshall County Veterans Service Officer, Pam Schweizer-Betz, will be Steve’s first guest to talk about Veterans Benefits and her role in helping our veterans to obtain whatever they are entitled to.  This monthly program will be part of the daily What’s Your Opinion Show.
