Lincoln Junior High Principal Reid Gault is excited to announce the robotics team has qualified for the World Competition.

Gault said the robotics team has qualified for the World Competition that will be held in Dallas Texas in May.  The LJH team consists of five 8th grade students and 2 coaches.  The team will be fundraising the cost to attend the competition over the next few weeks.

The program is trying a lot of different things to raise the funds.  It will cost $7,000 to send the team of 5 and 2 coaches.  Here at Lincoln, they are selling items in the cafeteria, there is a staff jeans week or two, a Hacienda night, along with team members soliciting sponsors.

Coach Ashley Oliver and the five members of the LJH Robotics team will be on WTCA’s “What’s Your Opinion Show” Friday, April 1st at 10:15.
