Wild Rose Moon’s Open Mic takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of every month and is free and open to the public. This month, it is scheduled for the 16th from 7 pm-9 pm. To sign up, please go to Wildrosemoon.com, click on Programs/Open Mic/Learn More/Sign Up or call 574-276-1185. Please leave a message about when you would like to play and your sound system needs.  Wild Rose Moon is located in Historic Downtown Plymouth, next to the Marshall County Historical Museum.  Admission and parking are free.

Anyone interested in performing is greatly encouraged. This includes poets, storytellers, standup comics, lecturers as well as singer/songwriters, and musicians.  All ages and talent levels are warmly welcomed to join us in a supportive setting, where performers are truly listened to.  The set length is 15 minutes.  Please time your materials in advance.

Martina Samm, host/emcee, will introduce NEON at the beginning of the night. She is a registered dietitian and an enthusiastic supporter of both the performing arts and nutrition education.  NEON (Nutrition Education Outreach Night) is a program she developed while earning a degree in nutrition science at Indiana University/Bloomington, where she also hosted a monthly open mic at the legendary, Player’s Pub.

Excited about her role as host, Martina says, “Please join us and bring some friends. We have a variety of yummy cookies, along with hot coffee and herbal teas to share.  Free-will donations are always appreciated.”
