The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning at 8:30 in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building. 

The Commissioners will hear from Highway Superintendent Jason Peters and an update from Laura Walls the Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation.  Kelsey Guardarrama from the Purdue Extension Office will present her quarterly report and County Treasurer Angie Birchmeier will present a contract from L&D Mail Masters and request approval to extend tax collection hours for the May collection.

The County Commissioners will also hear an annual update from the Plymouth and Bremen Boys and Girls Clubs, and the quarterly report from the Marshall County Museum.  They are also expected to appoint Sandy Garrison as the Director to replace Lindy Rippy who retired last week. 

Also on the agenda of the Commissioners meeting is the County Attorney’s report, Auditor’s report and Commissioner Items which includes consideration of Ordinance 2022-06 an Amendment for the Bereavement Leave along with Ordinance 2022-03 the Electronic signatures for INDOT and the Cyber Insurance Policy. 

The County Commissioners meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are always welcome.
