Officer Stamper with the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to the parking lot of H & R Block on Pilgrim Lane Wednesday, December 29th just before 5 P.M.

The caller said that another vehicle nearly struck his vehicle and after it parked, the driver of the suspect vehicle staggered around and appeared to be intoxicated.

Officer Stamper located the suspect, 44-year-old Nathanial K Mullins of Lakeville.   He was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated after an investigation and incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.  They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
