Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Friday evening December 3rd just before 5 near the intersection of North Michigan Street and Hoham Drive.

The passenger in the vehicle, 40-year-old Melody Heath of North Judson was arrested for two outstanding Marshall County warrants, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Heath was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for additional charges of Possession of Meth and paraphernalia and held on a $1,500 cash bond. T For the two Failure to Appear warrants she was held with NO BOND.    

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
