Marshall County Community Corrections recently partnered with Goodwill Industries of Plymouth to provide clothing and other items to those being released from Incarceration.

“Goodwill Industries graciously provided a dollar-for-dollar monetary match of gifts cards for us to provide to our clients being released from prison or jail,” said Ward Byers, Director of Community Corrections.  He continued, “In many cases after a long period of incarceration our clients are left with starting over from everything including a toothbrush to clothing and housing.”

The gift card match will help provide the basics our clients need to start over while reintegrating into the community. In addition, these cards will be used as an incentive to clients who show and continue to show progress and exhibit prosocial behavior and activities, said Byers.
