Lisa Mullaney, the Argos Clerk / Treasurer has posted notice to town taxpayers, that the Argos Town Council will meet at 201 West Walnut Street in Argos at 7:15 p.m. on the 3rd day of November, for the purpose of considering the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.
Appropriation Increase to the General Fund for the Town Council in the Community Development Fund for $100,000.00 and the Ambulance Fund for $250,000.00. The total additional appropriation request is $350,000.
Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (Department). The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
