The City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings (Monday, this) evening beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety.
Agenda for the meeting includes hearing from various city department heads. Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt will bring back the request of Max Hatfield for a no parking sign at 200 Alexander Street. The Hatfields say people are parking on the street and blocking access to their driveway and garage. Marquardt will also present a request from Tactical Urbanism on Jefferson Street.
City Engineer Rick Gaul will present information from Broadband Solutions and the City Attorney will present a resolution setting Trick-or-Treat hours in the neighborhoods.
The Plymouth Common Council meets at 6:30 and will conduct a public hearing on the Alley Vacation for the Menominee Heights Subdivision. They will also consider the ordinance to vacate the alley on 2nd and 3rd readings. The council will also conduct a public hearing on the 2022 budget.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi will present two ordinances for the Plan Commission, one is an amendment to the zoning ordinance while the second will amend the Subdivision Control Ordinance.
Council members will consider the ordinance for appropriations and tax rates for 2022 along with a resolution amending the project list in TIF District # 1 and # 3, a resolution for declaring property to be in a revitalization are for a tax abatement for B&D Realty Holdings/Complexus Medical and a resolution for the Commercial Revitalization Rebate Grant for Stephen Carter.
City meetings are open to the public and held in the second-floor meeting room of City Hall. Those attending should enter through the Garro Street door and move to the second floor. The city meeting is also available through Microsoft Teams on the city’s web page.
