LAKEVILLE – The varsity volleyball team played host to Hoosier North Athletic Conference foe Caston.
LaVille dropped a 3-0 decision to the Comets.
Abby Goffinet led LHS in two categories. Goffinet handed out seven assists while picking up eight digs. Madelyn Fuchs let the net attack with five kills, while Olivia Goze added four. Lucy Sherk collected four blocks, while Fuchs chipped in with three blocks.
Quincy Blodgett served up three aces for LaVille.
LaVille moves to 7-9 overall and 1-2 in the HNAC.
Caston improves to 11-10 overall and 3-1 in the HNAC.
LHS is scheduled to play at Culver Academy on Wednesday, September 22. The JV match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
