Staff and students from Lincoln Junior High will host their first of five Lincoln Leads events this Saturday, September 18th from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the school.
Lincoln Leads is a way that students at Lincoln Junior High and the staff are connecting to the community and giving back. Each quarter they will have an opportunity to sign up and participate as a volunteer.
This first event will be a car wash at the school and a fundraiser for the Treber Family that is recovering from a devastating house fire that happened just before the beginning of school. The family lost everything including three vehicles although all five members of the family made it out safety.
Those interested in the donation only car wash will enter using the parent pickup and drop off entrance off South Liberty Street this Saturday from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m.
