On Friday, August 27th, at approximately 7:30 in the evening the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a call about a vehicle that was all over the roadway and had blown a tire in the area of State Road 17 and 10B Road.

Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department located the vehicle and after an investigation C.W Epley III, 74, of Culver was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a BAC of .15 or more and Possession of Marijuana.

C.W. Epley was lodged in the Marshall County Jail and given a cash bond of $1,500.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
