The Indiana Department of Health announced today that 3,713 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 813,046 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
To date, 13,783 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 15 from Wednesday.
Twenty-four new positive cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Marshall County on Thursday’s report from the state. That brings the county’s total to 6,561. No new deaths were reported. A total of 72 individuals were tested and the 7-day positivity rate for all tests in the county is 9.1% while the 7-day positivity rate for unique individuals in the county is 15.6%.

Hoosiers age 12 and older can receive a COVID-19 vaccine. To find a vaccination clinic near you, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211 if you do not have access to a computer or require assistance. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted at most sites.
As of Thursday, a total of 3,032,290 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
