The Indiana Department of Health announced Wednesday that 3,558 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings the state’s total to 809,545 Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus.
To date, 13,768 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 25 from Tuesday.
The state’s report shows 30 new positive cases of the coronavirus in Marshall County bringing the county’s total to 6,538. No additional deaths were reported, and the county’s total remains at 117. There were 62 individuals tested and the 7-day positivity rate of all tests in the county was 8.1% while the 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals in Marshall Count was 14.3%.

Hoosiers age 12 and older can receive a COVID-19 vaccine. To find a vaccination clinic near you, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211 if you do not have access to a computer or require assistance. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted at most sites.
As of Wednesday, a total of 3,026,218 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
