The Indiana Department of Health announced Wednesday that 1,233 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings the total to 701,971 of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus.
In Marshall County 5,743 residents have tested positive for the coronavirus with another 14 just being added today. There were 46 individuals tested and the total number of COVID tests in the county is now 24,707. There were no new deaths to report, and we remain at 108 citizens who have died from this dreaded virus. The 7-day positivity rate for all tests in Marshall County is 2.8% while the 7-day positivity rate for unique individuals is 13.9%.
To date, 12,782 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19.
A total of 3,311,123 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana. A total of 9,293,614 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
