corona virus updateThe Indiana Department of Health announced Thursday that 966 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 675,388 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

The Indiana Covid-19 Dashboard & Map shows Marshall County reporting that 13 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 bringing the total to 5537 with 48 new individuals being tested for Covid-19. There were no new deaths reported since Wednesday as Marshall County remains with 106 covid-19 related deaths. The 7-Day Positivity for All Tests scored 2.7 % with the 7-Day Positivity for the Unique Individual scoring 9.8%

A total of 12,495 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 13 from the previous day. Another 412 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

To date, 3,199,074 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,193,023 on Wednesday. A total of 8,556,561 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
