Plymouth park department logoEaster in the Park is planned for next month in Plymouth.

During the Plymouth Park Board meeting on Monday, Mike Hite the superintendent, told board members they are planning an outdoor event for Easter.  The traditional Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 3rd in Centennial Park. More details will be released as the event gets closer.   They will be talking with the Health Department to be sure necessary precautions are taken.

The Mayor Senter had put a moratorium on park activities until the end of March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Hite said since the county has turned blue and the mayor’s moratorium will be ending, they are moving ahead full steam and plan to open the pool this summer and have summer day camp.

Hite clarified that they will seek protocols from the Marshall County Health Department to keep employees and kids safe.

Hite also wants to begin the hiring process for summer help and the park board agreed.  There will be a variety of positions available.
