Covid 19 update_1The Indiana Department of Health announced Tuesday that 1,225 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 641,874 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

On the Indiana Covid-19 Dashboard and Map Marshall County reported that 7 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 and 20 new individuals were tested. Indiana Department of Health recorded one additional death for Marshall County bringing the total to 100. The 7-Day Positivity for All Tests scored 4.5 % with the 7-Day Positivity for Unique Individuals scored 16.0%.

A total of 11,526 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 67 from the previous day. Another 416 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

To date, 3,015,385 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,011,185 on Monday. A total of 7,328,824 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
