Marshall County Councilman, Jack Roose presented his letter of resignation to David Holmes, Chairman of the Marshall County Republican Party Monday following the County Council meeting.
Roose is the District 3 representative and has been on the council for two years and has two years left in his term.
The Marshall County Republican Party will conduct a caucus on Wednesday, January 27th at Republican Headquarters, 117 Water Street in Plymouth beginning at 5 p.m.
Republican Precinct representatives from Center 5, 6 and 7, North 1, 2 and 3 and Polk 1 and 2 Township will be voting on the candidate to fill the vacancy.
Any person interested in filling the vacancy should file a Declaration of Candidacy no later than 72 hours in advance of the meeting with: David R.
