Plymouth Community SchoolsThe Plymouth School Board held a ten- minute meeting on November 3. It was a regularly scheduled monthly meeting.

Among other items, the board voted unanimously to accept the Master Contract with the Plymouth Education Association (PEA) for 2021. The contract had been discussed at negotiation meeting between the administration negotiation team and members of PEA. At the October meeting of the board, they held a public hearing on the proposed contract.

The Master Contract included a $1,400 increase to base salaries for eligible teachers. The increase is identical to the raise last year. Additionally, the corporation is providing a contribution increase for insurance premiums.

Later in the meeting, the board approved a base increase of $1,400 for administrators who are eligible.

In other matters, the board approved a contract with Go Solutions. This is an annual consideration. The company provides billing assistance for Medicaid reimbursements.

The next meeting will be December 1 at 7:00 P.M. Patrons will be informed prior to the meeting as to the accessibility of in-person attendance and/or virtual access.
