On Thursday, October 29th at approximately 7:30 P.M. Deputy Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was requested to respond to the 17000 block of Vine Street in Tyner in reference to a theft report.
Upon investigating 56-year-old Harry Sturgeon of Plymouth and 20-year-old Kentavis Sommers also of Plymouth were located and found to be in possession of stolen items, and taken into custody.
Sturgeon and Kentavis were transported to the Marshall County Jail where they were both charged with Theft and held on a $505 bonds.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
