Arrested_handcuffOn Wednesday, September 23rd at approximately 6:34 P.M. Officer Finn with the Plymouth Police Department responded to Walmart for a theft in progress. Arriving at Walmart 25 year old, Jenna Prater of Knox was taken into custody on charges of Presenting a False Sales Document, False Informing and was found to have an active warrant through Starke County. Prater was transferred to the Marshall County Jail where she was held on a $1,505 bond for her charges in Marshall County and held without bond for her active warrant out of Starke County.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
