Valley shuts out Lady Lancers
MENTONE – The varsity volleyball team traveled to Tippecanoe Valley for a non-conference match.
LaVille battled before falling 3-0 by scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-14.
Rebekah Beehler and Allison Medors led the defense with four digs each. Beehler and Lucy Sherek led the net attack. Beehler collected three kills, while Sherk added two. Olivia Goze and Madelyn Fuchs were strong at the net. Goze had four solo blocks and four assists. Fuchs had two stuff blocks and three assists.
LaVille (9-7 overall) will travel to Caston Tuesday, September 22, for a Hoosier North Athletic Conference match. The JV match is scheduled to serve at 5:30 p.m.
