On Monday Connie Holzwart, Executive Director of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce spoke with Ashley Garcia, Administrator of the Marshall County Health Department concerning a Downtown Plymouth Trick or Treat event with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Garcia said to hold the event a plan would need to be submitted to the Health Department. Several areas of concern were discussed including the size of the crowd, approximately 1500 people, social distancing which would be impossible to enforce, and most importantly the risk of exposing a child to the virus.
Due to these factors, Downtown Plymouth Trick or Treat is cancelled.
